FRENCH VANILLA ICE-CREAM

In a medium saucepan, combine:

1 cup Dari Free powder
3/4  cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp arrowroot, potato or tapioca starch
1/2 tsp agar powder or gelatin powder

Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.  Boil for one minute or until thickened and bubbly.

Blend in:

2 cups chilled, prepared Dari Free (Not powder)
2 eggs, pasteurized (raw eggs can contain Salmonella or other harmful bacteria)
flavoring, as desired * Dari Free imparts a strong vanilla flavor, so sample batch before over flavoring

Transfer mixture into the canister of an ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer’s instructions.


VARIATIONS

Mock Wendy’s Frosty:

Add 2 Tbsp Ah!Laska or other dairy free chocolate syrup per cup of ice cream, process in blender until smooth. 

Floats:

Freeze in scoop(circular) shaped mold and place formed ice cream into tall glass, fill with Root Beer, Cream Soda, Cola, Orange, Grape , Strawberry or other favorite soda.
